golf courses of the world has grown quickly as his reputation has soared
over the last
seven years.
Scots born artist Graeme Baxter's reputation as the world's leading painter of golf landscapes, received another boost in '99 when it was announced that he had been appointed by the Championship Committee of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews as the official artist for the Millennium Open at St Andrews. It will be the first of a series of official paintings for forthcoming Open Championships. The Kippen based artist, who is also the official artist to the PGA, the European Tour, the Ryder Cup and the President's Cup '98, began work after last
year's Open at Carnoustie.
